The short version
- You don't need an account, and we never ask for your name, email or age.
- We don't use cookies.
- Your scores, streaks and settings stay on your own device. We can't see them.
- There are no adverts at the moment. If we add them later, we'll update this page first.
What's saved on your device
The games use your browser's local storage (a bit like a notebook kept inside your browser) to remember:
- your results, scores, stats and streaks for each game;
- which puzzles you've already played today (the ✅ ticks on the home page);
- your settings, such as light or dark theme, hard mode, and whether you've seen the "How to play" box;
- whether you've closed the little privacy notice;
- for the Premier League Predictor: your picks and points history.
This information never leaves your device and isn't sent to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings (this will reset your streaks).
Accounts and personal information
There are no accounts, logins or sign-up forms. The newsletter box on the home page is marked "coming soon" and does not collect anything yet. If a newsletter starts in future, it will be run by a newsletter service, it will be optional, and this page will explain what happens to your email before you can sign up. Under-13s should ask a parent or carer first.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any website host, Cloudflare processes basic technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks. We don't use this to identify you. We don't currently use any analytics. If we turn on Cloudflare Web Analytics in future, it is cookieless and doesn't track you across other sites, and we'll list it here.
Football data
The Premier League Predictor loads public player, fixture and points data from the Fantasy Premier League website through our own server, so your browser doesn't contact Fantasy Premier League directly. No information about you is sent to them.
Adverts in the future
To keep the games free, we may show adverts from Google AdSense in future. If we do:
- we'll update this page before any adverts appear;
- because many players are young, we'll ask Google to show only non-personalised adverts to UK visitors under 16 (and to anyone where we can't be sure), in line with UK GDPR and the ICO's Age Appropriate Design Code (the "Children's Code"). Non-personalised adverts are based on the page you're looking at, not on what you've done elsewhere;
- where the law needs your permission for cookies used by adverts, we'll ask first with a clear choice, and saying no won't stop you playing;
- Google's own policy explains how it uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Other sites
Some games (Guess the Player, Dearest Friends) and links run on separate sites with their own privacy pages. Dearest Friends has an optional leaderboard that stores a nickname and score.
Your rights and contact
Under UK data protection law you can ask what information we hold about you. Because we don't collect personal information, the answer is normally "none". For any question about privacy, please contact us via the site.
